Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • ½ cup melted butter (unsalted)
  • 3/4 cup sugar (brown or granulated)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 11/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven:
    Set it to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan or line itwith parchment paper for easy removal.
  • Mash the bananas:
    In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  • Mix in the wet ingredients:
    Stir in the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Add the dry ingredients:
    Sprinkle baking soda and salt over mixture. Gradually addthe flour and mix until just combined - don't overmix!
  • Fold in the chocolate chips:
    Gently fold in the chocolate chips, distributing evenlythroughout the batter.
  • Bake:
    Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50-60minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (a fewpieces are fine).
  • Chill and serve:
